I am passionate about helping people fulfill their dreams. This fuels my love of my job, where I help people buy the home of their dreams AND make sure they’re still maximizing their cash flow and investing in a way that moves them towards fulfilling their long term financial goals – for retirement, for their children’s college, for anything they want.
So what makes an appointment with me different than with any other loan officer?
I don’t start with a bunch of rate quotes and loan product jargon. The first thing I do is ask you lots of questions such as:
I find out who you are and what’s important to you. Then I work with you to educate you about options that really make sense for you and your life – now and in the future. I use a number of tools that help simplify this process, so you understand what we’re doing together for your future. Then I guide you through the loan process so you feel comfortable and confident that you have the loan you want and are prepared for each stage of the process so that there are no unnecessary surprises.
I moved to Boulder from Northern California with my family in 1979 – which makes me “not quite a native”. I went to college in Massachussetts and traveled extensively for years. Having been many places, I have come to realize that there just isn’t any place quite like Boulder. I have strong ties to the community here and I expect to be calling this home for years and years to come.
Before becoming a mortgage banker in 2001, I owned my own film production company for 6 years. As a filmmaker, I gained firsthand experience of the complexities of operating my own business and I bring this depth of knowledge to my work now. I understand how to balance short term cash flow issues with long term investment strategies. I know what it means to constantly be balancing vision and practicality.
