I am passionate about helping people fulfill their dreams. This fuels my love of my job, where I help people buy the home of their dreams AND make sure they’re still maximizing their cash flow and investing in a way that moves them towards fulfilling their long term financial goals – for retirement, for their children’s college, for anything they want.

This also fuels my participation in the community. I’m a board member of Project Self Sufficiency, a Boulder County public and private non profit that helps single families become economically self sufficient. This year I’m chairing the Celebration of Women event for Boulder Business and Professional Women, an organization that promotes equity and opportunity in the workplace and the community for women. I’ve been involved with Boulder TEC High School in a number of capacities – I’m on the Perkins Grant Advisory Committee and have also been a judge at Skills Test Days. I also volunteered over the holidays giving food to needy families during the EFAA food drive.

And I give 10% of my net proceeds back to local non profit organizations such as Attention Homes, September School, Kids Connections, Project Self Sufficiency and (what local charitable organization is closest to your heart?).

Here’s how my program works:

For every purchase or refinance loan I close for anyone in the community who asks, I will donate $300 or 10% of my net proceeds, whichever is greater, to the non profit of their choice. I am working closely with a number of non profits in town already, and I’d love to speak to you about working more closely with your favorite charitable organization.

But there is no need to “sign up”. This is not an exclusive arrangement. All you need to do is ask me and I’ll be happy to make the donation at no additional cost to you.

Why do I do this? Because I know the value of supporting our community and I find that if my clients share this value of supporting the community we live in, they tend to be more fun to work with!
